March Meat Raffle with Ebony Bones and John et Jehn
It's pretty rare that we put on a band twice at Meat Raffle, but last November's Ebony Bones performance was so good it left us with no alternative. Ex-soap superstar Ebony and her Rat Scabies-endorsed gang will be back with us again in March with another day-glo primal punk explosion! Another chance to see London's most talked about band for free.
Support comes from John and Jehn. Influenced by Serge Gainsbourg, The Velvet Underground, Gang of Four, Joy Division, Johnny Cash, their music is a shambolic collection of sonic experiments in space, carried by dark humour and pulsing melodies. Having given up their livelihoods, John et Jehn are currently locked in a room in London's suburbia surrounded by piles of recording equipment and various musical toys.
As ever, the Meat Raffle Soundsystem, consisting of Meaty Milan, 16oz Stewart and Baby Face Dave will be filling in the gaps.
